KSG Investigates Giant Eagle’s Misleading BOGO Promotions

KSG is investigating claims for a class action lawsuit against Giant Eagle LLC on behalf of consumers who have suffered financial damages from buy-one-get-one (BOGO) free promotions.

These Giant Eagle Misleading BOGO promotions have been reported in the news.

Giant Eagle LLC is a privately owned retail grocer that operates in Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, and Ohio.  Many consumers have complained about the Giant Eagle Misleading BOGO promotions.  Specifically, it has been alleged that the grocer has overcharged them during the BOGO promotions by purposefully rigging its computers and charging customers for the most expensive items while not charging them for the least expensive items.  For example, one consumer who purchased four top round beef roasts at a Pittsburgh Giant Eagle outlet during a BOGO promotion was allegedly overcharged more than $6 as a result of the Giant Eagle Misleading BOGO promotion.  Ultimately, Giant Eagle’s BOGO promotion failed to adequately inform its customers that they would be “penalized” for purchasing four or more items.

If you, or someone you know purchased four or more qualifying items during Giant Eagle’s BOGO promotions, please contact us.  You may not have saved money, as Giant Eagle advertised.  All initial consultations are free of charge.
