KSG Investigates Tamko Laminated Asphalt/Architectural Shingles That Fail Prematurely

KSG is investigating claims for a class action suit against Tamko for defective shingles. Tamko advertises that its shingles are durable and high-quality. However, consumers have complained about premature cracking and delaminating, as they are left to front the bill to repair or replace their roof.

Tamko manufactures the shingles under the Heritage product line. Tamko advertises that the shingles’ “longer up-front protection underscores the strength and durability.” Yet shingles that break apart and delaminate only a few years after purchase are anything but strong and durable.
