KSG Investigates Kay Jewelers Switching Diamonds

It has been alleged that Kay Jewelers has been replacing their customers’ diamonds with moissanite stones, a look-alike material that is significantly less expensive. Many women have reported they received a swapped stone after taking their rings for repairs at Kay Jewelers locations. Generally, consumers notice that their inscribed certification number, unique to their stone and etched by an independent diamond certifier, is missing from their diamond. Subsequent tests reveal that these stone are, in fact, moissanite replacements.

If you, or someone you know, has been affected by the alleged switching of stones by Kay Jewelers, please contact us to discuss your potential claim. All initial consultations are free of charge.
