Hansen’s “Natural” Soda filled with Artificial Ingredients

October 4, 2018- Kohn, Swift & Graf is currently investigating Coca-Cola for advertising its Hansen’s sodas as”natural,” when it has been alleged that the Hansen soda contains multiple artificial ingredients.

Hansen’s Natural Soda ACTUALLY filled with Artificial Ingredients

Coca-Cola allegedly engaged in false advertising and marketing by branding its Hansen’s sodas as “natural,” implying that they are free of undesirable, artificial ingredients. However, the soda line is said to contain multiple artificial ingredients such as ascorbic acid, citric acid, and caramel color. The FDA recognizes ascorbic acid and citric acid as “chemical preservatives.”

It is further alleged that Coca-Cola is aware of the public’s urge to purchase products branded as “natural” and purposely took advantage of this tendency when marketing Hansen’s sodas. It has further been alleged that the company is aware that its ingredients are not classified as natural, yet continues to falsely advertise the Hansen sodas as natural.
