3M Earplugs Caused Hearing Loss for Military

Kohn, Swift & Graf, P.C. is investigating claims against 3M Company for selling allegedly defective combat earplugs that were provided to American military service members.

3M Military Issued Earplugs to Blame for Hearing Loss & Tinnitus

Numerous reports have surfaced stating that the 3M earplugs did not effectively protect the military members’ hearing while on active duty. As a result of using the 3M earplugs, United States veterans are experiencing hearing loss or tinnitus.

While on active duty, military members were under the belief that the 3M earplugs would provide ear protection in the field. 3M was the exclusive supplier of ear plugs to the military from 2003 until 2012. The earplugs were provided to thousands of military members.

Worse yet, it has been reported that 3M learned of a design defect in the ear plugs during testing, but falsified test results in order to secure the exclusive contract to supply ear plugs to military members.

KS&G is determined to get justice for our veterans who suffered hearing loss or other injuries, like tinnitus, as a result of using 3M ear plugs while on active duty. If you or someone you know has been affected by using 3M ear plugs, please contact us now.
