$37.5 Million Settlement of Class Action Antitrust Case on Behalf of Bearings Distributors

Kohn, Swift & Graf is pleased to announce that a $37.5 million settlement has been reached in a class action antitrust case on behalf of bearings distributors. Bearings distributors that purchased bearings in the United States from and including January 1, 2000 through December 31, 2014 from certain JTEKT, Nachi, NSK, NTN, Schaeffler, or SKF entities are part of the settlement class.

A Notice containing information about the lawsuit and a Claim Form for eligible bearings distributors to submit claims for a distribution from the net settlement fund were mailed on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

The Court will hold a fairness hearing on the settlement on June 10, 2021. The deadline to file a claim is June 28, 2021. The deadline to request exclusion from the settlement class of bearings distributors or to object to the settlement is May 5, 2021.
