Douglas A. Abrahams
Douglas A. Abrahams is a shareholder in the firm, which he joined in 1988.
Mr. Abrahams is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he majored in History (B.A. 1979). He graduated from Temple University School of Law in 1984.
Mr. Abrahams served as law clerk to the Honorable Ethan Allen Doty of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas from 1984-1986. Immediately prior to joining the firm he was an enforcement attorney in the Philadelphia Regional Office of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mr. Abrahams is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars, and has been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, and the Eastern District of Michigan. He has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer®, received an “av” rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, and listed in the Best Lawyers in America.
Since joining the firm, Mr. Abrahams’ practice has emphasized complex civil litigation. He was designated by the Court to serve as co-counsel for the class in Stewart v. Associates Consumer Discount Company, et al., Civil Action No. 97-4678 and Arden Architectural Specialties, Inc. v. Exolon-ESK Company, et al., Civil Action No. 95-CV-0574-S (S) (W.D.N.Y.).
