CASE OVERVIEW
Valisure warns that its finding is “especially troubling” given benzene’s “significant” risk to public health and the environment. Valisure urges the FDA to recall the “adulterated” and “misbranded” batches, investigate these products, provide information to the public, and take additional actions.
Valisure found benzene in antiperspirants and deodorants of Arrid, Axe, Brut, Bath & Body Works, Calvin Klein, Degree, Dove, Equate, Land of the Free, Nautica, Old Spice, Power Stick, Right Guard, Soft & Dri, Secret, Suave, Summer’s Eve, Sure, Tag, and Victoria’s Secret.
