KSG Wins $15,000 for Clients Negatively Impacted by “Courtesy” Tow, Joseph Kohn Quoted
In May 2021, Joseph Kohn and the legal team at Kohn Swift initiated a lawsuit against the city of Philadelphia on behalf of citizens who were victims of the so-called “courtesy” tow. Their aim was to force the city government to fix this program. Kohn Swift succeeded in getting a $15,000 settlement for each of two citizens who had been negatively impacted by this program. The remaining plaintiffs will continue to prosecute the class action claims against the City.
The Philadelphia Inquirer covered these developments in the article Philly pays $30K to two ‘courtesy’ tow victims, but class-action suit continues, which features a quote from attorney Joseph Kohn.
