Recent Taha v. Bucks County Jury Verdict Featured on CNN
Earlier this week, a jury in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania ruled in favor of Plaintiff and the Class that Defendants Bucks County and the Bucks County Department of Corrections willfully violated Pennsylvania’s Criminal History Record Information Act (CHRIA).
The jury awarded $1,000 in punitive damages per class member. The precise number of class members eligible for this award will be determined by the court at a later date.
