William E. Hoese, a shareholder in the firm of Kohn, Swift & Graf, P.C., joined the firm in April 1989.  Immediately prior to joining the firm he was senior trial counsel in the Philadelphia Regional Office of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.

Mr. Hoese has an “av” rating from Martindale-Hubble. He has been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America and one of “Philadelphia’s Best Lawyers” in the area of antitrust law, and has also been recognized as a Pennsylvania “Super Lawyer.”

Mr. Hoese is a member of the Pennsylvania bar, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Eastern District of Michigan, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third and Seventh Circuits.

Mr. Hoese received his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the Syracuse University College of Law in 1984.  He was inducted into the Order of the Coif and the Justinian Honor Society.

Mr. Hoese received his B.A. degree with honors in political science from The College of Wooster in 1980.  He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
