KSG Investigates Samsung Defective Washing Machines

Kohn, Swift & Graf, P.C. is investigating claims for a class action lawsuit against Samsung for allegedly designing, manufacturing, marketing, and selling washing machines that are defective.  The Samsung Defective Washing Machines are causing major problems for consumers.

Samsung designs, manufactures, sells, and markets a wide range of consumer products, and touts its production of “first-class home appliances that add comfort and convenience to consumer lives.”  Yet, the Samsung Defective Washing Machines are anything but “first-class.”

It has been reported that the Samsung Defective Washing Machines allegedly have a design where the position and location of the drain pump requires the weight of the pump (including the water weight), vibration of the tub, and vibration of the powerful motor to be applied laterally to the pump’s mounting base and housing, which causes high stress concentrations that result in fracturing and separation of the drain pump assembly’s motor housing from its mounting base.

Worse yet, Samsung allegedly fails to provide replacement parts for the housing covering the drain pump and broken mounts for the motor.  As such, Samsung Defective Washing Machines are costing consumers’ hundreds of dollars to repair.

The Samsung Defective Washing Machines at issue include but are not limited to models in the WA400 and WA500 series.

If you, or someone you know, has purchased a Samsung Washing Machine that you suspect is having the problems described above, please contact us to discuss your potential claim. All initial consultations are free of charge.
