KS&G Lawsuit Against PALMco Energy Filed

May 10, 2019- Kohn, Swift & Graf, P.C., has filed a class action lawsuit against PALMco Energy representing customers in Massachusetts. PALMco is accused of engaging in improper billing practices when “supplying” energy to it’s residential customers.

This suit comes on the heels of a large investigation into PALMco by PUCO, Public Utilities Commission in Ohio, citing similar claims from customers in that state as well.

Have you been deceived by PALMco?

Kohn, Swift & Graf, P.C. is attempting to recover compensation back to the customers for the overcharging. The complaint further alleges PALMco of “enticing residential customers to sign up for its service by offering seemingly low initial rates for electricity. When the “teaser rate” period expires, however, customers are rolled over into a month-to-month variable rate plan with exorbitant rates”, amongst other improper billing practices. This has caused customers to pay up to three times more than the wholesale market rate.
