It has been alleged that Audi has sold and leased vehicles containing a defective Stop/Start Efficiency System from 2017 to 2020. Vehicles may include the 2019-2020 Audi A3 and 2017-2020 Audi A4, A5, A6, A7, Q3, Q5, Q7, and Q8.
It is claimed that the Start/Stop Efficiency System causes the engine to lag, hesitate, or fail to immediately engage when trying to accelerate from a full or rolling stop.
In addition, it is alleged that when the engine finally restarts, the Audi vehicles lurch and are plagued with inconsistent acceleration and engagement of the throttle.
The alleged defects in the Audi vehicles are claimed to interfere with the safe operation of the vehicles, exposing the occupants to a risk of injury.
If you have purchased or leased a 2019-2020 Audi A3 or a 2017-2020 Audi A4, A5, A6, A7, Q3, Q5, Q7, or Q8 and experienced engine lag, hesitation, failure to immediately engage or to restart, lurching, inconsistent acceleration or throttle engagement and you want to discuss legal options, please call Kohn Swift & Graf, P.C. at 215-238-1700 or email us at email@example.com.
